This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Here is a small pile with two rock-on-rocks in the background from where Rt 111 meets Rt 495, behind a corporate office park. To me, it is always intresting to contrast rock piles and the archeological past with the high-tech present - the irony of these structures going un-noticed and how awesome it is that they are still there in plain sight in the midst of the development.
