This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Look carefully
Maybe sometimes a rock on rock is actually part of a more complex structure. It sure seems like it in this picture. This is from a rocky lowland one lot away from a brook in Stow, from right near that boat-rudder.
