This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

From the Journals - A bird effigy?
This was one rock of many in a pile filling the crack of a split rock. The site consists of 50 or so rock piles around a boulder on a hilltop in Boxborough. It is a favorite picture and a favorite site.
