This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Cheek by jowl with high tech and suburbia
There are several different stories about rock piles. I think it is intriguing how they are so much underfoot in suburbia without suburbia realizing it. This contrast of the ancient and mystical with the modern and utilitarian seems quite a narrative to me.
