A roadsite site in someone's backyard, Carlisle
There are some little knobs of land above a spring in Carlisle with about 10 rock piles on them, next to the road but with the piles hiding in the sparse pine saplings so they are hard to see. In the above sketch, the road is in gray, the house is a black rectangle, the brook is in blue and the knobs with the piles on them are in brown. Here are some of the piles:Most of the piles are up on support rocks. That is something which tends to be associated with piles located at a water source. Here the water is just north of the site and it forms a brook, crosses under the road and heads off to the east to join a swamp. The topography is similar to the site from Thursday.
