James' post suggested to me I should try the words "stone heap" in some of my image searches.
This shows is it a worthwhile exercise.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
Where the heck is ".cz"? Checkeslovakia?
ReplyDeleteI used to do this for hours: stone heaps, rock heaps, heaps of stone, heaps of rocks, then on to stone mounds, rock mounds, stone piles, rock piles . . . etc. It was very informative then, and I'm sure there's a lot more now.
ReplyDeleteYes, varying the search words is fun. I am just getting into the right permutations. Another alternative is to switch between search engines, Google, Yahoo, Ask, Lycos, and locations: Photo sharing sites, blogs, etc.
