This rock pile sits in a Southwestern RI wildlife preserve in an area less than two miles from documented Native American sites. I took the photograph during a preliminary visit. The history of the area alleges that this land was once in the domain of the Narragansett Sachem Canonchet. The site looks promising but requires more exploration. If you're interested in exploring this area and taking some photographs when you do, e-mail jimporter@NOSPAMmenotomyjournal.com
Obviously, remove the, "NOSPAM," from the e-mail address before sending.
Nice one. I am going to post a similar one for comparison.
