Here are two views of a curious red oblong rock in a wall at Wetherbee Ave Conservation Land in Acton.
Note the smaller black and white stones. Note the way the oblong rock is surrounded.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
