This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
The bottom section of this chamber appears to be been created by removing blocks of stone from the bedrock. Would it be possible to get close-up photos of bedrock portion of the walls, in particular the right hand side (when looking into the entrance). I am curious if there any quarrying tool marks. One of the photos hints at possible tool marks but the resolution not sufficient to evaluate properly.
