This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

A few more nice pics from the Tyngsboro site
These are so nicely made, hard to resist photo'ing them and showing off what nice piles I was looking at. This is clearly a marker pile site and much more.
Lol, I wonder if in 100+ years people in Tyngsboro will ponder my cairn... which simply houses a 2' rebar stake marking the corner of our property, since we could never find the stupid stake buried up in the woods! ;-)
