This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Cobble Rock - a Rhode Island historic perched boulder
Yes, I've been there. I grew up nearby and spent a lot of time on that campus for half my life.
You have to be persistent with requests to campus officials. They used to have trail maps but they can also direct you there. It's not difficult to find, just difficult to get permission to visit.
Does anyone know how to get to that pedestaled boulder on the Alton Jones Campus? That one is pretty spectacular.
