This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

A typical water "break out zone" on a hill
I forgot to post this the other weekend. See the constellation of features, largely simple rock-on-rocks, around a breakout zone on a hill?It is surprising how common these things are and how easy to miss.
