I am not sure what part of the US this is from but it is like piles we have here on the east coast.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
This marvelous cairn certainly looks to be somewhere in the Northeast, based on the type and density of vegetation surrounding it. The question is where?

this cairn is in west virginia. it is over 6ft tall

there are several other in the area around this cairn and also many large rock piles. this is easily the largest i have yet to find though the others are in similar condition but some have been knocked over by trees. if anyone wants to ask me questions about the pile my email is jpe07@hotmail.com
