This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Rock pile in the snow
I had to go out if only to see some old friends in the snow:
Sorry I'm not contributing more from my part of the world. The fact is, I've been too busy to get a chance to go out. I'm right in the middle of production for Macbeth at Southwest Shakespeare Company. I play the First Murderer - a very brutal role. All I do is murder -- men, women, children, even an infant. It's a lot of physical work with great emotional toll. The part is meaty for an actor, but dealing with the reality of the role can really make one reflect, as it were.
Anyway, I'll get out eventually. Then I'll have lots of pictures to share.
