"Weird Georgia" by Jim Miles

Speaking of Georgia...here is a book about strange things including (you guessed it) rock piles and unusual stones.

[Off topic: is that really how you spell "weird". It does not follow the rules I learned in school]

  1. the only real rule is:
" i before e, except when its not".

And don't get me started on apostrophes!!!

  2. The official rule is "i before e except after c or when sounding as "A" as in neighbor in weigh".

  3. Geesh, your teacher gave you the rule but failed to mention the many exceptions? Either and neither are two also.

  4. I had special tutoring on this because I can never spell "there/their" right. Guess the tutor did not tell it right.
