This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
In the photos of Putney Chamber 3, in the background is a stone wall where the rocks are stacked at an angle to the ground (not "flat" on the ground). There are quite a few stone walls like that where I hike in NY. This is the first time I've seen a similar wall in New England photos.
