This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

I suppose this could be a fire place but it looks a lot more like one of the well built stone "U"s that are documented in various places. For one thing it is built up way higher than a fire place.
