Reader J. writes in reference to Indian Rock from Estabrook woods:
...in Pomfret Vermont. It sits atop a hill over looking mounds along the slope and faces the direction of the slope with the mounds. Do you see the profile of the face?
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
