This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Walk in Estabrook (3)
Continuing from part 1, and part 2, here is a view of Kibbe's well. There are two rock piles behind the bushes in the background:
Do those two rock piles in the background make a pile-gap-pile?
ReplyDeleteKinda, sorta, maybe. I was wondering about it myself. Several of the split-filled boulders also reminded my of pile-gap-pile.
