This was on top of the main hill in Fitchburg. Not completely clear why, they cut it into pieces and moved it down to the center of town. Some sentimentality attached to it.

This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
