This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Stone lined spring
Stepped into the woods in northern Westford and, as soon as I hit the cool shadows and ferns, there was a oval shallow hole lined with rocks. Tim MacSweeney was writing about these here.
