You know the drill. With the heavy snowfall it will be several weeks before rocks start to poke through. Until then, we'll have to read archives.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
I've been looking for what shows as outlines of stone rows (which are really long rock piles) as well as the "bowlders" that are only partially covered (we got over two feet of snow here, on top of the huge drifts from the last blizzard).
