This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Broken Wood
The colors were prettier in the original but this is the only picture I took all weekend - not for lack if trying.
Speaking of colors in wood. There is so much copper in the soil where I hike that downed limbs acquire a green/blue color:
