Chris P has more good luck and writes:
This morning I got up early and decided to check a field I know, hoping that the storms and rain this week might have exposed something new. After about 15 minutes I spotted this quartz point lying almost completely exposed, I was thrilled. I found another point, broken, about 3 steps away.Chris adds: in other parts of the Northeast this shape would be called a Lamoka
[pwax says: As usual: wow!]
This enforces the idea that you can find arrowheads if you keep looking.
