I forgot to mention that the rock pile, which you see slightly right of center, is next to a break in the stone wall. You can see the break at the beginning of the video clip. And, yes, there was more stuff.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
This looks exactly like the site near where I live...stone wall over a knoll, three rock piles near the break in the wall. The only difference is that, at the site here in NY, the rock piles are on the side of the stone wall opposite the gully (the wall is between the gully and the rock piles).
