After a not too interesting walk in Sherbourn, I drove around slowly for a while looking into the woods. Spotted an isolated rock pile along Prospect Street.
It remains fascinating to me the way these structures are present in suburbia
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
