This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

ReplyDeleteI've seen a few "rock piles for miles" stretches here in NY, too. What's nice is you can always go there and find something you haven't seen before. It's almost impossible to comb the whole thing in just two or three visits.
