This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
I have since deprecated the use of the "Wachusett Tradition" because it is more of a "Merrimack Tradition" and, in particular, numerous examples of rectangular mounds with hollows can be found looking away from the mountain and have no particular connection to it.
This is an interesting site, and reminds me of the one at Oley Hills
