This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

Another look at the large mound on Blood Hill - Ashby MA
Is that a zigzag or serpentine stone row???

ReplyDeleteThere is additional structure between the arms of the pile. It is formed like a "J" without zigzags. But it steps downward - a bit.
