Marked Rocks from Walden Pond

My boss at work found some interesting marked rocks at Walden Pond. You would think someone would have mentioned this, which looks like a signature:

    Check with the Thoreau Society in Concord. Someone there probably knows about this.

    Where are the stones in relation to Walden Pond? The reservation is a pretty big area.
