A Thanksgiving Story

Since we are also celebrating Chanukah at the same time as Thanksgiving, I thought I'd point out a little irony about the convergence of these two holidays. Chanukah celebrates an occasion in which an indigenous people successfully drove out an invader of their land who sought to impose their religion upon them! Imagine what Thanksgiving would've been like if King Philip had won . . .
