This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

ReplyDeleteA wide range of different types of markers and marks have been used over the past 300+ years to mark the bounds of various surveys. I would begin by exploring the simplest and most logical explanation that this an old boundary.
