This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
Nice find! What is there looks nicely flaked. I assume there is no grinding? I have several in this shape and I call them Wading River. Glad you had some luck, I'm in a real slump. I've been getting out and looking a lot with nothing to show for it. I was up at 7 AM on Sunday and hit five different places but came home empty handed.
