This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me that people think Colonials built the cairns and stone rows. My brother, a very intelligent man with a vast network of stone rows on the property adjoining his in CT told me the Colonials "built them in the winter because they had nothing better to do". :~)
