This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
Not much to say about it. I walked around that hill (which reminds me I should do some more complete articles), and saw some things in the neighborhood. You have been there with me. The photo shows a collection of split propped slabs, next to an old road but with nothing else notable in the vicinity.
Looks like a huge clam shell in back. Waiting for more info.
