Follow the line of sight: from a pile in the foreground, between a pair of rocks, over a small surface rock, and on to a place where, luckily, the light makes the stone wall visible.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
