Triangle of Stones & Mounds at South Hill (Hi Tor DEC Forest) in the Keepers Area

Last week in the Keepers Area of South Hill of Hi Tor State Forest we found lots of stone structures. Most were mounds located on aspects of Mother Earth's subtle body such as Earth Chakras, Ley Lines and other features in the Energy Plane. There were Fields of Consciousness.

Towards the end of the day we found a triangle of large stones, shown below. 
I have been in the Keepers area dozens of times over the last ten years and never paid much attention to it, even though the stones are large. We all wondered whether there was something to it.

There was. The three stone mounds mark three Ley Lines, or put differently they are connected by three Ley Lines. The black lines in the photo below show the Ley Lines.
Perhaps there is something else to the formation, or that it serves some other purpose. Was it designed to have  people sit in the triangle? 

I point this out to say that what appears trivial, or insignificant may have a higher purpose. We have become so disconnected from Mother Earth that we fail to see Her as ancient cultures did and much is lost to us--even those looking for stone structures.

    I include this post because the blog is supposed to be an open platform. But I do not endorse it.

    I find fault with:
    - the spirituality overshadowing observations (where is the dog standing and why is the knapsack below ground level in picture 3?)
    - the spirituality may be insulting to Indian spiritual beliefs.

    In addition, David Schewe has documented a lot of sites in this area - are these different from his? He is not mentioned in the article.

    While the 3 "Ley Line" mounds look more like boulders to me, I have to say that the possibility exists that the other "messy" mounds could be just the remnants of all those nicely formed mounds I see in other photos from around there. Perhaps the "borrowing" of stones from mounds - taking apart old existing mounds to build foundations etc. in post contact times - might make more sense than farmers stockpiling mounds of stones very carefully/creatively/artistically - a long list of this happening to stone mounds in many places could be made, sometimes including the name of the person buried there (like Sachem Waramaug in New Milford CT).

    And yes there is a great deal of "imported spiritually" with no mention of the Indigenous People who viewed the Landscape as Sacred for a much greater period of time.

    Using the directions on the website, I think that the "Keepers" area is in fact Clark's Gully. This is regarded by the Seneca as the place of their emergence from a prior world, and is extremely sacred to them. Other folks shouldn't be messing with it!
