It might be a burial and the site revolves around it. Why is it so hard to get NAGPRA applied?
Did I ever mention that the sketch of the site layout disappeared along with the notebook containing it. This happened at a NEARA conference. I put the notebook down for a moment, forgot about it, and it was not to be found again after. I even made an announcement and no one responded.
