This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
I am noticing the repeated feature pattern - in the so called Medewiwin lodge foundation plan - of a long line of stones ending in a circle (in this case, in a corner). This reminds me of linear features ending in an enclosure I see, sometimes at the ends of short stretches of wall.
