ReplyDeleteExploiting Indians to Seize Land
In May of 2012, the United Nations “Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Indigenous People,” James Anaya, ended his “fact-finding” mission to the United States with a shocking conclusion: Americans should return vast tracts of land to Native Americans. Such a move, he claimed, would help put the U.S. government closer into compliance with the so-called UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples — a controversial scheme that President Obama endorsed in 2010.
Suspicion, unsurprisingly, ran rampant because the UN and many of its member regimes are famous for hostility toward private property. They are openly seeking to curtail those rights using a variety of seemingly unrelated mechanisms. Chief among those tools is the drive for so-called “sustainability,” which The New American magazine has spent considerable space exposing. It now seems, however, that past injustices against Native Americans have been added to the UN toolbox for advancing its controversial anti-property rights agenda.
[T]he UN has made it clear in its official documents that, across the world, private property rights must be curtailed and eventually dismantled.
“Land cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market,” the UN claimed in a report on “Human Settlements” that sparked outrage worldwide. “Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes.”
There's plenty of evidence that various peoples lived in North America over many thousands of years. And people have always migrated throughout the world, whether by choice, nature or force. It's ridiculous to think you can lay claim to land that your ancestors or relatives once lived on. But Native Americans are being exploited by agents of the United Nations to promote this land grab agenda.
ReplyDeleteWe have barely begun to understand the meaning of the stones and stone structures throughout New England. What we do know is that many resemble those found all over Great Britain. And artifacts found over hundreds of years strengthen the connection and the likelihood that the ancients traveled the seas for thousands of years. So it is very likely that Native Americans were not the only inhabitants of this land over its long history. In any case, no one has the right to lay claim to land their ancestors once lived on.
Native Americans assisted by the new U.N. treaty have already been snookered out of land they were assisted in gaining. The U.N and the previous U.S. government view ALL Americans with contempt, and only pretend to assist Native Americans as another means of stealing private property.
If you value the Constitution, know your enemy, operatives who covet the land of private property owners, believing they can't be trusted to care for their own land environmentally or historically. Inviting them on your land is a mistake - their purpose is to find an excuse to control it and to take it - they already think they own it! The collectivist/Marxist mindset does not respect the Constitution. It respects control and authority.
And those who romanticize Native American history need to beware of being manipulated. You can appreciate their lovely culture without being complicit in pushing an unconstitutional agenda, ignoring evidence and abandoning scientific thought and common sense.
