This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
Didn't realize how far over the pseudo-edge Thornton had gone. I could buy into a possible Maya connection, but I guess the economic advantages of dragging in all the "Advanced Ancients" won out. Maybe I should go "Celtic," start using the Gaelic form of my last name, claim that my ancestor Shuibne was one of the pagan "snakes" driven out of Ireland by the Roman Missionary Patricius who fled to CT and started building stone snakes in New England and beyond - following the Hammonasset Line of course, which now runs right into my yard, as illustrated on page 133 in a recently published book...
