This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

I found this portion of a stonewall to be interesting in Holland, Ma. Does anyone see anything here?
Resemblance to Rattlesnake scales found around the eye - except that the superocular scale isn't a single stone? The preoculars are the two larger stones, post oculars smaller stones - a stone serpent facing right and downhill??

It does look like a deliberate "bump" in the wall with holes through it. I want to see it as a shadow mechanism. Others will see other things.
