My modern tool box from Sears came with a set of open end/box end wrenches, that I could string like jewelry or set up on little pads of foam rubber and play like a vibraphone or even a glockenspiel. It wasn't the intention of Sears to make anything but a set of wrenches, or "spanners" if you are reading this in England or a former British Colony, but you can even tune them to proper orchestra pitch with a file.
ReplyDeleteAnd a Sears Spark Plug socket was and is the favored slide for many well known slide guitar players, easily acquired and easily replaced. I've used them "in a pinch" more times that I can remember...
