This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
Pretty nice examples. The only odd note was that the dog did not go sit in the middle of the pile.
Either it's a.) not that kind of stone mound or b.) not that kind of dog, one might conjecture.
Right. In levity lies truth. Maybe the mound no longer smells or maybe the dog lacks a sharp nose.
