Marker piles anyone?
ReplyDeleteI ask readers to look at the slope, how even it is and without bumps or dips. This is a STANDARD property of rock pile grids. When built on un-even ground, the heights of the piles are adjusted to compensate. Going out on a limb here, I conclude that this part of CA had eastern tribes.
ReplyDeleteWhich gets us into the question of the "Chinese Laborers" who supposedly built the stone walls in CA - as if being a laborer left you lots of time for physically demanding whimsey!
