  1. Most knowledge is of the: "It happened yesterday, so it will happen today" variety. You know, like the knowledge that the sun will rise again. This is not scientific truth per se.

    What we learn from experience is considered fact. But not for people lacking experience. Ives grew up in the back of Plato's cave
    - none the wiser.
