Ancient Virginia Flint Knife came from France

[Not rock pile related, this is about an artifact found in a context dated to more than 19,000 years ago.]

  3. Two extremely large website/forums decided to borrow my headline and send users to this article. So "Rock Piles" is being aggregated with other content by other websites, skirting the edges of "fair use" copyright laws. On balance, it is probably better to have more people visit a sub-page than not visit at all.

  4. Parenthetically, French flint might have been used as ballast on a ship that dumped it, here in the New World.
