This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
The backlash against this news has been fierce, but I think that in time it will prevail. If the old time barrier is demolished, I'm wondering if the site of Hueyatlaco in Mexico will be revisited, since scientific dating of the volcanic layers in which artifacts were found were as much as 250,000 years old!
