It reminds me a bit of walls with a circle at one end.
This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.
The undulating stonework looks like a serpent to me.

ReplyDeleteThere is a second row parallel to the first and two or three feet offset downhill from it. Mostly buried, mostly gone. The whole structure could be long box with a taller wall on the upper side.
