This is about rock piles and stone mound sites in New England. A balance is needed between keeping them secret and making them public. Also arrowheads, stone tools and other surface archaeology.

It is a kind of split wedged rock, isn't it?
I don't see it as a split wedged boulder. I see it as a natural shape on the bottom of the boulder that was filled. Here's a close-upThere is another boulder near by that has similar but smaller alcoves.
